Luigi Sartori was born in the province of Verona, but he studied in Vicenza where he met her wife; now he lives near Milan in the green Brianza. He worked for a leading multinational computer firm for more than 30 years, and now, that he is retired, he can spend most of his time on the love of his life (next to his wife) – photography. He is a member of the Circolo Fotografico Monzese (the Monza Photographic Club) where he learned how to develop and improve his photographic skills. Here he meet with other photography enthusiasts and share personal exhibitions and audiovisuals projections. He use Nikon equipment which he has always found very satisfactory. His passion started with Black and White printing: first into a dark room and now by a computer. He also tried colour printing, particularly cibachrome, but in the end Black and White won. He is afraid that he has now become rather lazy, so he takes mostly colour pictures and have them developed by a laboratory. Apart from that he has developed a keen interest in using his computer to digitally edit and manipulate his photographs and have progressed to creating audio-visual slideshows which he enjoys doing very much.
